Day 01 : Jalpaiguri / Bagdogra - Pelling (135 kms/6hrs) by road

Arrive at NJP/Bagdogra and transfer to Pelling. On arrival check into the hotel, rest of the day is free.

Pelling located at an altitude of 6,800 ft,is the nearest motorable point from Mt. Kanchendzonga, the world's 03rd highest peak and offers a good view of the sunrise and an all day long view of Khangchendzonga and the entire Eastern Himalayan range.

Day 02 : Pelling

After breakfast a full day sightseeing tour in and around Pelling, visiting the Pemayangtse Monastery Pemayangtse literally means 'Perfect Sublime Lotus'. This is one of the oldest and most important monasteries of Sikkim . Founded in 1705, this monastery belongs to the Nyingma-pa sect. The three-storied building of the monastery houses a good collection of wall paintings and sculptures. On the third floor of the monastery, there is a seven-tiered painted wooden model of the abode of Guru Rimpoche, complete with rainbows, angels and the whole panoply of Buddha and bodhisattvas. Khechepalri Lake is considered one of the sacred lakes of Sikkim . The lake remains hidden in the rich forest cover. Lastly a visit to the Sangay water falls and return to the hotel.

Day 03 : Pelling to Gangtok (125kms/6.5hrs)

Early Morning travel to Gangtok. On arrival check into the hotel.

Gangtok the capital of Sikkim , is at an altitude of 1700 mts. Gangtok is famous for its scenic beauty and spectacular views of the mountains.

After lunch a sightseeing tour covering Chortan Stupa, which houses the complete mandala sets of Darjee Phurba, a set of Holy Books, complete 'Zung' (mantras) and other religious objects. Around this Chorten are 10 Mani-Lhakor (prayer wheels), Institute of Tibetology , a renowned center for Buddhist study, the institute houses a rare collection of Tibetan, Sanskrit and Lepcha manuscripts, statues, Thankas - tapestries used in Buddhist liturgy. (Closed on Sunday), Institute of Handicrafts and handlooms (Closed on Sunday), Rumtek Monastery, the largest monastery in the Eastern Himalaya .

Overnight stay at Gangtok .

Day 04 : Gangtok - Tsangu (Tsomgo) Lake - Gangtok (32 km x 2)

Early morning start for a half day excursion to Tsangu Lake (12400ft) at a distance of 32kms from Gangtok. The lake is almost about 1Km long, oval in shape and 15 mtrs deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people, Evening is leisure time in Gangtok.

Day 05 : Gangtok - Darjeeling (98kms/4hrs)

Morning proceed to Darjeeling . On arrival check into the hotel. Rest of the day is free.

Darjeeling is famous for its tea and the famous toy train. Overnight stay at Darjeeling .

Day 06 : Darjeeling

Very early in the morning start for Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise and its amazing effect on the Mt. Kanchendzonga (Worlds 3rd highest peak) and on the return to the hotel visit the Ghoom Monastery and Batashia Loop War Memorial. After breakfast a half day sightseeing visiting Padmaja N. Zoological Garden (Closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tibetian Refugee Self-help Center (Closed on Sunday).

Rest of the day is free. Overnight stay Darjeeling.

Day 07 : Darjeeling - Bagdogra/NJP (95km/3 Hrs)

Morning is free. After lunch drop to Bagdogra airport/ NJP railway station.
